Manatee Holdings: Sustainable Seafood, Harvested by Experts
Manatee Holdings is an aquaculture organization aiming to offer healthy, protein-rich food with less of a toll on the environment, “creating the most environmentally beneficial food production operation on land or sea anywhere in the world.” They primarily focus on geoducks, a type of saltwater clam in high demand as a premium seafood product.
Manatee Holdings’ owners recognize that destroying the surrounding ecology may show a short-term profit but result in a long-term disaster. Therefore, Manatee Holdings Ltd.’s mandate is to “create the most environmentally beneficial food production operation on land or sea anywhere in the world.
Their advantage is having a long history in the fisheries so they fully understand the animals and the wild which provides them with the knowledge of what the animals are like and what helps in their surrounding ecology.
Providing Streamlined Order and Delivery
The Manatee Holdings team will use Routeique’s supply chain software platform to manage orders and inventory for its current customers, as well as to power its network of sustainable aquaculture suppliers and customers.

Connecting a Sustainable Aquaculture Network
Routeique will also support Manatee Holdings in its plans for expansion, including creating an aquaculture network with multiple suppliers and products. “One of the paths to our scaling up is being able to democratize the supply chain. This is step one in that journey,” says Gant.
